Popular local brewery NoDa Brewing Company is coming to Charlotte Douglas International Airport in mid-2018, the 6th largest airport in the United States.
The stand-alone NoDa Brewing Company tap room will be accessible to more than 44 million travelers a year.
“While our beers have been available at other retailers* in CLT since February of 2013, we can’t wait to show visitors even more about our city and state’s craft beer scene,” the brewing company said in a statement. “In conjunction with HMSHost, a global restaurateur, our airport location will be a full-service restaurant and bar in Concourse A Expansion, a new development project within the airport.”
“With seats for nearly four dozen people and 12 taps, travelers from around the globe will be able to sip on a wide variety of our offerings all-day; the location will even include early hours with breakfast service, and single cans and four packs to-go.”
The company said thanks to Chef Michael Suppa, expect to see elevated casual food, including some dishes that incorporate their beers. As part of an aesthetic that matches their main tap room, three local artists will have their artwork on display at the airport location.
