The Males Place will host the All Black Tie Dinner & Gala on Saturday, Feb. 24 at Deltas of Charlotte to benefit their Journey to Ghana, West Africa in 2018.
Expected to be a night of opulence, guest will enjoy a four course dining experience, dancing and conversations with internationally acclaimed chef and food activist Njathi Wa Kabui with music by DJ Shogun.
Contributions will assist TMP in creating an intense travel experience for 20 young men as they journey to Ghana, West Africa to gain an understanding of what it means to be a citizen of the world and will create a context for learning from other cultures and applying newfound insights to life at home.

A floral drink made with hibiscus flowers, fresh ginger juice, fresh mango juice and apple juice.
Organic salad mix dressed in a sumptuous a fresh vinaigrette made with organic pears, figs, apricot, tamarind, yellow mustard, black pepper, balsamic vinegar, honey and honey mustard; then garnished with organic pears, granny smith apples and purple beets.
A full-flavor soup from oven-roasted 100% Organic Pasture-raised Beef Knuckles from Breaburn Farm, flavored with garlic, red onions, Idaho potatoes and spiced with cloves, coriander, and then blended with fresh mustard greens.
Baked Chicken that is deboned and then sautéed with vidalia onions, garlic, fresh rosemary, cauliflower and oven roasted multi-colored peppers, spiced with a chef’s fresh spice mix, served with Baba Reggie collards and sumptuous brown rice.
Baked Plantains and Sweet Potatoes cobbler — ties with a fresh organic apple butter and garnished with dried coconut flakes and hemp seeds.
With a total goal of raising $52,500; TMP welcomes donations at www.themalesplace.org. Tickets are $75.00 per person.
