Men, women and children of Charlotte came out to First Ward Park in uptown to join protestors across the country in solidarity to kick off the Women’s March 2018.
Armed with signs and colorful quotes protestors advocated for the renewed fight against women’s rights and equal rights for all including African Americans and the LGBT community.
The historic Women’s March that took place one year ago on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017 in Washington, DC with an estimated millions in attendance, started a movement across the country of women marching for their rights and in protest to President Donald Trump.
